Is there a daily limit to the amount of money I can withdraw from an ATM?
Yes. Just like a bank ATM card, there is a limit. The Opt+ prepaid Mastercard® withdrawal limit is $1,000 per day, with a maximum of 4 withdrawals and a maximum of $300 per withdrawal.
Where can I use my Opt+ card to make a purchase?
Opt+ prepaid Mastercards® are accepted worldwide wherever Mastercard® is accepted.

Can Opt+ cards be used to purchase gas at the pump?
Yes; we recommend you prepay inside. If paying at the pump, there will be a $75 hold on your funds to ensure your card has enough funds to cover your gas purchase. If your card doesn't have a $75 balance, it will be declined. By paying for your gasoline inside, only the actual purchase amount will be withdrawn from your card balance.
Can an Opt+ card be used for pre-authorized payments or bill payments?
Yes. Just check with the company that is accepting the payment to see if they accept Mastercard® cards and follow their payment instructions. A pre-authorization means that a temporary hold is placed on a portion of your funds over and above the actual purchase amount until the merchant settles the transaction - usually within 3 days. During this time these funds will not be available to you to make additional purchases or ATM cash withdrawals.
